Friendly, Personal Support to Help You Live Life Your Way
Sometimes, a little extra support can make a big difference.
I provide friendly, reliable companionship and community support in Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 and the surrounding area, helping people remain independent, stay connected and continue doing the things that are important to them.
I pride myself on helping people access their local community and live life the way they want to. Everyone is different, so the support I provide is shaped around the individual rather than offering a one-size-fits-all service.
Whether you simply need some company and encouragement to get out of the house, or you use a wheelchair or walking aid and need a little extra assistance, I can adapt the support I provide to suit your individual needs.
How I Can Help
I can provide support with everyday activities and outings, including:
- Weekly food shopping
- GP and hospital appointments
- Personal appointments, such as hairdressers, opticians or other services
- Visiting friends and family
- Attending social groups, clubs or church
- Shopping trips, including furniture or household purchases
- Days out and trips into the local community
- Companionship and regular social visits
- Seasonal activities, such as shopping for or decorating your home at Christmas
- And many other activities that help you stay independent and enjoy everyday life
If there is something you'd like to do that isn't listed above, please ask. My service is designed to be flexible and centred around you.
Experienced, Friendly & Adaptable Support
I have years of experience working with elderly and vulnerable people, including five years working within the private community.
My training and qualifications include:
- First Aid training
- Manual Handling training
- Mandatory training for healthcare professionals
- Degree in Law
I'm also a mum of two, and I understand how important it is to know that someone you care about is spending time with a person who is patient, dependable and genuinely interested in their wellbeing.
I am naturally adaptable and tailor the way I work to each person. Some people may have full capacity and simply need a little support getting out of the house, attending appointments or enjoying some company. Others may have reduced mobility, use walking aids or a wheelchair, and require additional help when accessing the community.
The aim is always the same — to help you continue living your life as independently and confidently as possible.
